We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2020, at the age of 86, Kay Anne Smith (Ralston, Alberta), born in Rivers, Manitoba passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay Anne Smith to pay them a last tribute. You may also light a candle in honor of Kay Anne Smith.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Robert "Bob"; her parents, Clare Oliver and Anne Oliver; her children, Kelley Krahn (Dayle) of Ladner, B. C., Tracey Numrich (Harry) of Red Deer, AB and Jeff Smith (Shane Hammel) of Saskatoon, SK; her grandchildren, Adam Krahn (Melissa) of Surrey, BC, Morgan Krahn of New Westminster, BC, Paul Numrich (Robyn Frers) of Coquitlam, BC and Grant Numrich of Red Deer, AB.; her brother Terry Oliver (Florence) of Minnedosa, MB; and her brothers-in-law, Eldon Smith (Sheila) of Calgary, AB and Glen Smith of Hammonds Plains, NS. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Pattison Funeral Home and Crematorium (540 S Railway St, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 2V6). The funeral service will be held for immediate family only (due to COVID-19 restrictions) in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 2:00 p. m. Family and friends are invited to remotely attend the funeral service through live streaming on the Facebook page of Pattison Funeral Home and Crematorium.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in the memory of Kay to the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories or a charity of one's choice.
