It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Norman Crewe (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Burgeo, Newfoundland, who passed away on February 10, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of Norman Crewe.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Crewe and Sarah Crewe (Caines); his siblings, Lewis and Elsie Giles; his son Donald; and his great grandchild Natalie Ernst. He is survived by : his significant other Amelia "Mellie" (Taylor); his daughter Linda Melanson (Jack) of Middle Sackville; his grandchildren, Christopher Melanson of Halifax and Sheila Melanson-Ernst of New Ross; and his great grandchildren, Timothy Ernst and Wesley Melanson. He is also survived by 14 God children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14th 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (6552 Bayers Rd, Halifax, NS B3L2B3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2020 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Anglican Church (5522 Russell St, Halifax, NS B3K1X2). A reception will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2020 from 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Norman to St. Mark's Anglican Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
