It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jessie Hamilton McKechnie Leconte (Brantford, Ontario), who passed away on December 3, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her siblings, Agnes Pletch, Barbara Jellie and Charles Lynch. She is survived by : her husband William George LeConte; her children, George W. LeConte (Beatrice), Deep River, Jay Vance (Don), Christine Balazs (Steve) and James (Jodi Edwards); her grandchildren, Bill LeConte, Laurel LeConte (James Conrod), Julia Lipscombe (Jesse), Eddy Vance, Rob Vance (Chloe), Jessie Foster (Matt), Sarah Donelson (Brian), Stevie Balazs (Caitlin), P. J., Abigail and Benjamin LeConte; her great grandchildren, Sofia, Simon, Chile, Tripp, Indiana, Lilla, Reid, Quinn, Jolene and Arlo; her sister Betty Snider. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCleister Funeral Home (495 Park Rd N, Brantford, ON). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2019 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

If wished, the family would appreciate Jessie being remembered through donations to Greenbrier Presbyterian Church or the Stedman Community Hospice-Hankinson House.
