It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Downie (Penetanguishene, Ontario), who passed away on December 3, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his brothers, Robert, Bill and Gerald. He is survived by : his wife Norma Downie; his children, Joanne Manson (Michael), Murray (Helen), Tim (Michele), Michael (Sharon), David (Alina), Karen Mount (Peter) and Gerry (Marsha); his grandchildren, Alexander, Nathan, Daniel, Rebecca, Evan, Brian, Shane (Beth), Jessica (Nick), Christopher, Adam, Nicholas, Kaylee (David), Dylan (Krystal), Aaron (Kendra) and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Kinsley, Lennox and Vance. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13th 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the All Saints Anglican Church (1 Peel St, Penetanguishene, ON). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 13th 2019 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
If desired, donations to the Georgian Manor would be greatly appreciated and will be accepted by the Penetanguishene Funeral Home.
