He was predeceased by : his parents, Ethel Dixon and William Dixon. He is survived by : his wife Taina Niemi; his children, Shelley Dowdall (Gord), Carrie Calvano (Paolo), George Dixon (Nicky), Billy, Dee and Kathy (Ron); his grandchildren, Harlee, Tyler, Megan, Maxwell, Cherra, Sammy-Jo, Joshua, Baylee, Brady, Daytton and Daniel; his sisters, Ethel Penny (late Len) and Doris Penny (late Butch). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
