Nipsey Hussle Obituary
On the afternoon of March 31, 2019, rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed near his clothing store at Slauson Ave. & Crenshaw Blvd. 2 other victims were taken to a local hospital. He was 33.
Nipsey Hussle, whose birth name is Ermias Davidson Asghedom, released his first mixtape in 2005 titled Slauson Boy Volume 1. In 2010, he founded the record label All Money In, which debuted his fith mixtape titled "The Marathon". He collaborated with many artists along the way, such as: YG, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, and more.
More recently in 2018, he opened the first Marathon Clothing smart store in Los Angeles. Nipsey Hussle was also nominated for a 2019 Grammy for best rap album of the year for his album "Victory Lap".
He is survived by his love, actress and model Lauren London and their son Kross; Lauren's son Cameron; and his daughter from a previous relationship Emani Asghedom.
