He is survived by : his partner Scarlet; his children-in-law, Bryan, Cherry (Canberra), Natalie, Craig (Canberra), Andrew Morrison (Dunedin), Sandra Russell, Colin Russell (Christchurch), Joanne Graves and Robert Graves (Arrowtown); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Courtney, Allan, Jed (Canberra), Abbey, Haidar, Lilley, Kynan (Canberra), Annie, Claudia (Christchurch), Emma, Jesse and Sarah (Arrowtown); his great grandchildren, Piper, Lola, London, Mason, Levi and Mackenzie; his siblings-in-law, Esther, Gray, Brian Mairs, Joyce, Andy, Anderson, Sylvia, Ian, Butler, Neville, Pat, Scarlet, Betty, Chris Eason, Judith Dixon and Aidan Dixon.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made at the service to the Alzheimer's Society.
