The Panciera funeral service tradition began in 1932 in Rhode Island with the original Panciera Memorial Home. In 1962, that tradition expanded to South Florida with the establishment of Panciera Memorial Home in Hollywood, formerly located at Presidential Circle. Then in 1993, Mark Panciera purchased the firm from his father to carry on the family heritage into the third generation.
Today, Mark and his wife Tiffany are now proudly carrying on this care giving legacy, dedicating themselves to serving others in their time of need. Jerry Lowery began serving families as a teenager in the late 40"s by driving ambulances for a Miami funeral home. In 1960 Don Boyd hired Jerry Lowery as a funeral director for Boyd Funeral Home.
They became close friends and co-workers for many years. In the late 60"s Mr. Lowery had the opportunity to become a partner in a prominent Miami Beach Funeral Home, and like the Boyd"s and Panciera"s, raised his son David in the profession. He became one of the top funeral care managers in South Florida and eventually partnered with Mark Panciera.
Together they operated Panciera Memorial Home. Today, his son Michael, now third generation, works alongside his father to serve our community.
