We believe in caring for your family as our own to ensure your comfort and ease during this difficult time. After serving 35 years as an educator, Phyllis joined Slay Memorial in 2012. Phyllis graduated from Texas Woman"s University with both her bachelor"s and master"s degrees in education. She is a graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services.
Her experience as a teacher, vocational coordinator, diagnostician and director of special education give her a unique perspective for our organization. Phyllis has a passion for serving others. Her reputation for assisting families during their time of need, and building strong relationships with clients help her coordinate services that are customized for everyone"s needs.
Nina is a native of Florida, and has lived in Texas since 1981. She graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College with an Associate"s Degree in Computer Science. She and her husband, Ray, have lived, and raised two boys, in Pilot Point since 1995. After working at Aubrey Florist for several years, she transferred into the funeral home office in 2012.
Nina currently serves as the Slay Memorial Professional Assistant to the Funeral Directors. She truly cares for our families" needs during a difficult time. After assisting our families with their service, she also provides aftercare services. If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please contact her at Cloyce, with his wife Sharon, have lived in Pilot Point since 1969 and is the father of three children.
He received his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Education degrees from North Texas State and worked for 38 years in the Pilot Point Independent School District as teacher, coach, principal, assistant superintendent. Cloyce retired in 2007 from the superintendent position and has worked for Slay Memorial as a Funeral Associate since January 2008.
Cloyce is honored to continue to serve the many families and friends he has met throughout the years. Bill retired from Raytheon as an Electrical Engineer/Program Manager and a retired police officer from the Melissa Police Department. He and his sweet wife have settled west of Sanger, TX. Bill is active at his church. He likes the cordial family atmosphere at Slay Memorial and serves as a Funeral Associate.
