With heavy hearts, at the age of 75, we announce the death of James Coon (Kentwood, Louisiana), born in Tylertown, Mississippi, who passed away on March 14, 2019. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Kathleen L. Coon; his children, Pamela Golmon, April Laird and Chad Coon; his step-children, Christy Brown, Fry Brown, Christopher Brown, Katie Brown and Clint Brown; his sisters, Tinsey DeBlanc, Norma Jean Gibbs and Penny Lynn Cook. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15th 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, March 16th 2019 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16th 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Service McKneely Funeral Home - Kentwood.
