She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Peter, son Anastasi and parents George and Konstantina. She is survived by her son George Calatzis, daughter-in-law Amanda and grandson Augustine Peter of Astoria, NY; brother Nick Rassias and wife Helen of Stamford, CT; niece and nephew Mary and George Rassias of Stamford, CT; sister-in-laws Helen Costantinou and Voula Papadopoulos of Astoria, NY, and many other cousins, nieces and nephews in the US and Greece.

Pota was an avid gardener and loved to cook. She was an incredibly caring, loyal and selfless mother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, and always remembered the kindness of others. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew her.
