He was predeceased by : his brother Ronnie Coleman; his son Brent McKnight Gilbert; his husband Doug Edwards. He is survived by : his wife Valeria Coleman of Port Charlotte, Florida; his children, Stephanie Coleman Clevinger of Richlands, Virginia, Cody Blake Gilbert (Meghan) of Lexington, Kentucky, Johnathan Michael Coleman (Marian) of Richmond, Deniz Kilicli (Busra) of Istanbul, Turkey, Filip Milenovic (Nicole) of Beaver, Janko Popovic of Serbia and Damjan Georgivic (Lina) of Macedonia; his grandchildren, Jillian, Troy Clevinger, Cole, Olivia, Brayden Gilbert and Izabella Raylynn Terrill; his siblings, Billie Jean Jewell (Alvin) of Herdon, Dinah Edwards of Lerona, Donnie Coleman (Billie Rae) of Sophia and William Coleman (Angela) of Herdon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews that dearly loved their uncle.
